On Friday December 2th, we received the exciting news that we are the winners of ECR Food Waste Innovation Challenge 2022 in the category \u201cMost Innovative Food Waste Solution\u201d. We are beyond proud to be selected from along 100+ food waste innovations worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We would like to thank ECR and Co:cubed for organizing two very inspiring (on- and offline) events and all participants from retail and industry for their valuable contribution. Also, a big applause for the winners in the other two categories: The Aggressive Good and Whywaste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About the ECR Food Waste Innovation Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe ECR Food Waste Innovation Challenge was designed to find the most promising global innovations to prevent, re-use or reduce food waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over the last 12 months ECR Retail Loss have partnered with Co:cubed to find the food waste innovations that mattered the most for retailers seeking to prevent food waste in the first place and to then exit any surplus more efficiently or re-purpose it in new and different ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n From a long list of over 100 identified by Co:cubed, retailers then short-listed these down to the Top 30, which was published in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On November 30th, nine of the hottest innovations pitched their innovation to 150 retail food waste experts, with 60 different retailer brands represented from USA, Europe and Australia, along with investors, producers, academics, industry associations and independent retail food waste experts.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" December 5, 2022 On Friday December 2th, we received the exciting news that we are the winners of ECR Food Waste Innovation Challenge 2022 in the category \u201cMost Innovative Food Waste Solution\u201d.
